Sea Lake Community Plan
Developed as part of Building Buloke 2030 and with funding from the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund, the Sea Lake Local Community Plan was developed in 2018 following consultation with residents of all ages in and around Sea Lake.
It identified strengths, assets, opportunities and challenges, and set strategic directions and key actions in the areas of:
- Our built and natural environment
- Our community wellbeing
- Our economy
- Our Council and community leadership
Some of the initiatives identified in the Plan have already been adopted, while others continue to form part of the discussion at Advance Sea Lake Inc meetings as ways are sought to implement them.
Individuals and groups seeking the support of Advance Sea Lake Inc for activities and projects are strongly encouraged to identify how these integrate with the directions identified in this Plan and advocate for them at monthly meetings. The Plan can also be downloaded from the Buloke Shire Council website.
Advance Sea Lake Inc meets the first Monday of most months at 7.30 pm in the Sea Lake Court House. All are welcome to attend.
